Our customer is active in the logistics and transport sector for more than 90 years. They are a major European player with more than 10 000 employees and a yearly turnover of 1.7 billion Euros.
We are currently recruiting a:
Cleaning Station Manager (W/M/D)
The network is about 16 sites located in France, Belgium, Nederland, Spain, Hungary and Morocco.
Activities:
- Internal cleaning for road tankers, tank containers, IBCs with inside residues of chemicals (dangerous or not), food products or dry-bulk products (plastics, powders, cement, etc.).
- Hot air drying, sanitisation, passivation…
- Treatment of wastewater, sludge dewatering.
- Heating: steam, Hot water and electric…
- Depot: Storage, handling of tank containers or IBCs,
- One stop shop for short maintenance, tightness and hydraulics tests,
- Parking for tuck and semi-trailer
- Two teams (6 am / 8 pm).
We are looking for our cleaning station located at South Anvers to be responsible for this Profit Centre (turn over: 2 200 K€/Y) and for the day-to-day site operations.
Your main tasks:
- Manage the operational costs of the company and maintain profitability of the site.
- Follow and manage the day-to-day customer quotation, invoicing, payment, litigation…
- Put in place and maintain good relationship with customers (drivers, planners…) and welcome them, and extend to new customers.
- Manage the team: cleaning operators, administrative, 1 technician for maintenance. Evaluation and maintain a good working atmosphere…~10 employees in total.
- Manage quality service in accordance with client’s expectations (SQAS).
- Respect Safety and environmental issues.
- Follow-up the Group procedures.
- Manage the different technical components of the cleaning station to be efficient and in a good state at any time (steam production, high temperature/high pressure equipment’s, water treatment, effluent treatment …)
Know How:
- Very good managerial and interpersonal skills.
- Rigorous and well organisation to manage the administrations tasks.
- Easy contact to all levels (operators, drivers, authority inspectors, customers…).
- Natural leadership capabilities.
- Curious and willingness to learn technical processes.
Main competencies:
- He/she must have a very operational management experience at least 3 years in a transport company or cleaning station or recycling plant.
- Languages: Dutch native speaker, able to work in English – French would be an plus.
