Our customer is a recognized and established company specializing in the rental of industrial wagons.
Today we are hiring a:
Fleet Manager – Freight Wagons (M/W/D)
You report directly to the Area Manager and are responsible for managing a fleet of freight wagons, assigned to a specific portfolio of customers.
Your mission will be to ensure customer satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance of your entire fleet (approximately 500 railcars).
Your activity will be carried out in compliance with Railway Safety rules (“ECM”: Entity in Charge of Maintenance).
Your missions :
1. Customer relationships:
- Establish a relationship of trust with dedicated customers through regular communication about leased wagons, the overhaul program, monitoring of time spent in workshop for repair.
- Handle complaints and also cost reinvoicing
- Ensure the proper application of the sales terms & conditions throughout the rental duration of the leasing contract
- Ensure the good delivery of the wagons at the start of the rental contract
- Organize the preventive maintenance and repair of railcars in link with the customer
- Produce monthly reports (performance indicators)
- Managing the return of wagons at the end of the rental contract
- Issue re-invoicing for damages under the responsibility of the customer or the third party one
2. Workshop relations (service provider):
- Establish instructions to workshops for the repair of wagons
- Approve and challenge repair estimates
- Identify the need for spare parts and request them from the logistics department
- Process exit documents
- Ensure proper recording and traceability of maintenance
- Open incident reports and alert the technical service if necessary.
Your profile:
- You hold a Bac +2/+3 diploma, in mechanics, transport and/or logistics
- Organized by nature, you are precise and rigorous
- Team worker, you have relational ease with customers, supplier workshops and also internal services
- You have technical skills in mechanics
- You are familiar with standard IT tools (Pack Office)
- A first experience in the railway sector would be a real added-value
- You speak English (professional level)
Terms:
- Fixed salary according to profile and experience
- Home office possible up to 50%, after validation of the trial period
- Position based in Hambourg (DE)
